Montessori Therapy Services was founded by Gisselle Sabsoub, an experienced Montessori educator and school leader with over 17 years in education. With credentials in Montessori education, elementary instruction, reading, ESOL, and educational leadership, she created this program to ensure children receive therapeutic support that aligns with respectful, child-centered learning principles.

Our mission is to provide individualized therapeutic care within a calm, respectful, and thoughtfully prepared environment where children feel safe, capable, and understood.

We support development across communication, movement, regulation, independence, and confidence by meeting each child at their level and guiding them forward at their own pace. Rather than relying on rigid or clinical-only methods, we integrate therapy into meaningful, real-world activities that encourage natural learning and lasting progress.

My Story
A Letter from Our Founder
My journey into education began with a simple but powerful belief: every child deserves to feel capable, understood, and valued for who they are. Over the past 17+ years as an educator, I have had the privilege of working with children of all ages and developmental paths, and one truth has remained constant — children thrive when they are respected, supported, and given the right environment to grow.

As a Montessori educator, school founder, and lifelong advocate for child-centered learning, I saw firsthand that many families struggled to find therapeutic services that aligned with the same respectful, individualized philosophy they wanted for their children. Too often, therapy felt clinical, rigid, or disconnected from real life. I knew there had to be a better way.
​
That vision led me to create Montessori Therapy Services — a place where clinical expertise meets compassionate, whole-child support. I wanted families to have access to services that not only address developmental needs, but also nurture confidence, independence, and joy in learning. Here, therapy is not something done to a child — it is something built with them.

My goal has always been to bridge the gap between education and therapeutic care, creating an environment where children feel safe to grow, families feel supported, and progress feels natural and meaningful. I believe that when we honor the child, follow their development, and guide them with intention, incredible growth is possible.
